Association members receive a copy of the quarterly newsletter. “IN THE TUB” . Use your Association newsletter as a communication tool. You can use it to ask questions and receive replies from industry trends to problem-solving techniques applicable to the grooming environment.

 

In addition to the association newsletter, full members will receive a wall certificate suitable for framing, a membership card, copy of the ODGA Constitution and By-Laws, and a window decal displaying the ODGA logo.

 

Sweatshirts, T-shirts, jackets, pins and aprons, all displaying the ODGA logo, are available for members to purchase to support the Association and show pride in membership.

The ODGA Hotline is also used to match potential employers and groomers seeking employment. These methods of communication have proven to be a great success!

 

Breed clubs repeatedly inform us how much they appreciate and respect ODGA”s teaching techniques that emphasize “breed standards” styling. Our members tell us they appreciate our teaching format available at our seminars. Our objective is to share and grow together as an industry.

 

Our growing industry demands fresh attitudes regarding groomer employability, wages, insurance and daily business functions. A willingness to share information with new groomers entering our demanding field will ensure our upcoming colleagues a professional environment for both the groomer and the customer.

 

It is the desire of this Association to help close the gap in our industry. We appeal to your sense of professionalism to reach out to share with your fellow groomers, through the Association’s publication and your daily transactions with people, whether during your grooing day or while attending a grooming seminar and convention.
